There is one Internet Throne. Whoever paid the most for it most recently sits on it, alone, on the homepage, until somebody pays more.

The site has no utility. That is deliberate and it is not a flaw being worked on. What it has is scarcity, a public price, a permanent record, and exactly one seat.

Every reign is kept. The person who held the throne for four minutes in the first week has a page, the same as whoever eventually holds it for a year. The Hall of Fame lists all of them.
